This beautiful couple made my job a piece of cake. And the love they have for one another, their families, friends... I couldn't ask for anything sweeter to capture!
Besides the photogenic couple and the venue, a GORGEOUS church in Albany, the weather, absolutely perfect!
Meet Mason, the lovable groom.
"I married my best friend. The one I will call mine for the rest of my life. Nothing will compare to the moment I looked down the aisle at you standing there with tears in your eyes. The love I have for you grows every single day. God has truly blessed me with such an amazing man. Thank you for making me your bride and picking me to share your life with. I love you and I always will. Your bride, Karon"
These guys were hilarious, and fun to spend the morning with!!!
Up next are the ladies!
Oh how I wish I could spend my days doing nothing but taking photos of precious little kiddo's like Eli!
I already love this time of year, so this session was my HEAVEN!!!! Smash cake PLUS Christmas shots PLUS the most adorable little boy you've ever seen!? YES PLEASE! And might I add, Eli did such a great job during his shoot. He was recovering from a tough cold (if not the flu) and held it together the entire time.
I'll start with the Christmasy shots!
Yes, ladies and gents.
His mama & daddy put him in a oversized stocking!
He seemed to have enjoyed it, but as you all probably can infer, it didn't last for very long ;)
Smash Caaaaaaakkkkeee! =>
Now THAT's how you eat a cake!!! ;)

There's something magical to me about stopping at a random place on the side of the road to snap a few photos.
This stop during our session wasn't entirely random because we were in the area already at a specific location. However, this little stop, the (almost) last stop of our session, ended up being the most BEAUTIFUL!
There are times when I'll tell a client that it doesn't so much matter what they wear to their photo shoot. And that's true, depending on certain factors. However, there are times like this when their outfits fit so perfectly with the scenery. I couldn't have known we'd find this little place, just a little nook in the spot we were shooting in. But once I saw it, it was hard for me to leave it! Ask the couple!!!!!
This time of year, darker colors are most certainly what's to wear. Being that these were engagement photos, Dee wore a white, SUPER CUTE dress that I want hanging in my own closet. ;)
Seeing how well their clothes coordinate with their surroundings, it's gotten me on a "what-to-wear" search that may turn into a separate blog post!
I adore these two & am so thankful they asked me to capture this special moment in time for them. <3
Congrats again, you two, on your engagement! To see more from the Magical-Random-Stop location & other shots from their session OR to purchase your own special David & Dee photo, check out hdphotog.smugmug.com
